Nigel Harrison F.R.I.C.S., F.N.A.E.A.
Principal
Following three years study at The College of Estate Management in London, joined J Hunter & Sons in 1967 – a well known Lincoln firm of Estate Agents founded in 1880.
Following a decision with my Partners to sell Hunters to GA Property Services in December 1998 which we ran for a further 3 years I then established Nigel J Harrison, Chartered Surveyors and Estate Agents in 1991, therefore proud to continue with the tradition of the original established business including retention of the well known blue circle.
Active role in the local community, past Chairman of Lincoln Round Table, Lincolnshire Branch of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and current member of The Lincoln Rotary Club.
Married over 33 years to Pip who was born in Nocton Hall RAF Hospital, two sons, both Chartered Surveyors working in London.
Proud to continue running this busy local practice with a well respected team of property professionals in Sales, Lettings and Management.

Residential Sales Manager
I have worked within the industry since 1972, starting as office junior at a well known family run business J HUNTER AND SONS (Est. 1880), an Estate Agents dealing with Residential Sales, Auctions, Chattels, Surveying, Building Society work, Commercial and Residential Lettings.
Following a 5 year Office Manager role for a Corporate firm of Estate Agents General Accident (Your Move), I returned to an Independent firm, and became Residential Sales Manager and Associate to NIGEL J. HARRISON Chartered Surveyor (Harrison Estate Agents).
I have achieved the qualifications Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents and help run a general practice firm with 9 staff.
Nicola Smith M.N.A.E.A.
Residential Lettings Manager
Nicola joined Harrison Estate Agents in 1992, starting as a receptionist and progressing to Manager of the Residential Lettings Department in November 2005. She has passed the Technical Award in Residential Letting and Property Management which led to her membership of the National Association of Estate Agents.
Nicola has spent the majority of her life (since the age of 5) in Lincoln and has considerable local knowledge and experience.
Nicola is responsible for the day to day running of the Residential Lettings Department and ensuring that we offer, and maintain, an excellent level of service for both our Landlord clients and our tenants. Also responsible for carrying out Rental Valuations and will give advice on how best to present your property to achieve the best possible rental figure.
Having excellent communication skills Nicola is happy to liaise with Landlords and Tenants to give advice on all aspects of the Letting process.
She is highly regarded by both our Landlord Clients and our tenants and is a key member of the team.
Linda Kenny
Office Manager
Office Manager at Harrisons having originally joined in 2005 as Sales Negotiator.
With over 25 years administration and customer service experience, started in Estate Agency 1980.
Lived in Lincolnshire since childhood having moved here from Cyprus, so she has a sound knowledge of the local area and the City’s development over the years.
Often complimented by clients for her warmth and humour, Linda appreciates the stress involved with moving home, and will help guide you through the whole process to a satisfactory completion.
Linda is responsible for sales negotiation and progression, in house, local and national advertising, marketing reports and maintaining all aspects of our clients’ requirements.
Marie Reeve
Residential Lettings Assistant
Marie joined us in 2010 and her local knowledge of Lincoln and surrounding areas is a benefit to our clients, having lived in Lincoln all her life. Now enjoys village life in Nettleham, moving in 4 years ago after her and her husband project managed their house build.
Marie has a wide experience of customer care having worked for the National Health Service as a valued member of the Xray support team for 10 years. Within this time her roles were varied from filing room assistant, receptionist in Accident and Emergency, appointments clerk and during her last 2 years she gained the title of Office Manager, responsible for 26 other staff.
With her 2 children growing up Marie took on a role of senior receptionist at a large comprehensive school in Lincoln. From there she moved to Anglian Water where she underwent extensive customer care and ICT training and worked exclusively with customers dealing with general enquiries and complex complaints.
Julie Darra
Sales Negotiator
I moved back to Lincoln in 2010 after 10 years living in Cheshire to be closer to my family, especially my two small grandsons and have settled in Bracebridge Heath.
I joined Harrisons as a sales negotiator/administrator in December 2011 The role involves registering applicants, booking valuations and viewing appointments, negotiating and progressing sales and helping with the general running of the sales side of the business.
My career in Estate Agency began in Lincoln in 1998, working part time at weekends for a corporate agent and after a short time I became a full time sales consultant.
While living in Cheshire, I continued in Estate Agency, working mainly in the Potteries as a sales consultant and at one point setting up a sales office for a new company. Before moving back to Lincoln my last role was as a full time sales progressor for one of the Potteries most successful independent agents, where I kept buyers and sellers informed and guided them throughout the sales process.
David Ward

After over 20 years in the R.A.F. David started a new career at the age of 38 in what we now known as the financial services industry. He held various positions from advisor up to Branch Manager and latterly became an independent financial advisor.
He has been doing accompanied viewings for Harrison Estate Agents for seven years since retiring from financial services which maintains his contact and skills with the general public together with his local knowledge which proves invaluable in helping to sell and let our properties.
David has been married to his wife Val for 52 years and enjoys gardening in his spare time.
John Sleaford

John joined the Team in April 2012 after a 38 year career in local government with the City of Lincoln Council.
Whilst at the City Council John initially worked in public sector housing dealing with tenancy management, rental assessments, rent collection and arrears recovery and for six years as Homelessness Officer.
After a number of years managing the cash office, payroll, insurance and sundry debtor’s functions John became the Council’s Risk Manager and lead a Team dealing with risk management, insurance and business continuity.
Born in Lincolnshire and living in Lincoln since 1977, John has a wide ranging knowledge of both Lincoln and the local area.
John is married with three grown up children and when not at work is a keen participant and/or spectator in many sports particularly golf, football and horse racing. With any other spare time John will be found on his allotment or socialising with friends.
Julie Anne Radford
Typist
Julie joined Harrison Estate Agents in May 2006 on a part-time basis to carry out typing duties associated with Residential and Commercial property sales and lettings.
Most of her work is for Nigel Harrison however she assists with typing Inventories for Mrs Nicola Smith – Residential Lettings Manager.
Prior to working for Harrisons Julie undertook various temporary assignments for Secretarial Agencies in Lincoln in which she was able to utilise her many administrative skills and qualifications.
Julie is an accomplished musician and plays the Clarinet, Piano and Saxophone, her musical tastes being many and varied.
